On the 7th of December 2024, our foundation carried out a remarkable outreach event in Ogundimu Community, Iwaya, Yaba, Lagos, bringing essential healthcare services, nutritional support, and a strong message of love and dignity to hundreds of people. It was a day marked by compassion, togetherness, and hope. Over 500 individuals received free medical checkups, participated in health education sessions, and enjoyed warm, nourishing meals served with care.
From the break of dawn, the community was filled with anticipation as people of all ages gathered, many seeking medical care they hadn’t accessed in years. Volunteer healthcare professionals were on ground to attend to them, providing blood pressure and blood sugar checks, general consultations, and important guidance on managing common health conditions. For many, these basic services were deeply appreciated, offering both relief and reassurance. Throughout the day, health talks were also held, covering topics such as hygiene, nutrition, preventive care, and managing chronic illnesses. These sessions were simple, practical, and empowering—giving the people of Ogundimu the tools to make healthier decisions in their everyday lives.

As medical consultations continued, we also ensured that everyone present was fed. Hearty, freshly prepared meals were served with love, creating an atmosphere of warmth and togetherness. Children laughed, elders smiled, and families shared food in a safe, welcoming space. It wasn’t just about feeding stomachs; it was about feeding hope, restoring dignity, and making every person feel seen and valued.

This outreach in Ogundimu Community, Iwaya, Yaba, Lagos, was a reflection of what is possible when people come together with a shared purpose—to care, to serve, and to uplift. We are deeply grateful to every volunteer, donor, and supporter who made this possible. Your kindness left a lasting mark in the hearts of many. As we carry the memory of this day forward, we are reminded that true impact lies in showing up, again and again, for the people who need it most.
