Viewpoint Community Foundation visits orphanage in Abeokuta

On the 1st of August 2025, Project Bright Start reached the city of Abeokuta with a mission rooted in love, learning, and impact. Our team visited Yemisi Alogi Orphanage Home to support the children with essential educational materials and food items. It was a day filled with compassion, connection, and hope for a brighter future.

We provided exercise books, pens, pencils, erasers, and other school supplies to help prepare the children for the new academic season. Each item, though simple, represented the belief that every child deserves the right tools to learn and grow with confidence. Beyond education, we also donated a variety of foodstuffs to support the daily nourishment of the children and their caregivers. These gifts were given with care and the understanding that feeding the body goes hand in hand with feeding the mind.

What made this outreach truly special was the time spent with the children. Their smiles, laughter, and genuine joy reminded us of the beauty of giving and the importance of presence. It wasn’t just about the items delivered—it was about the love shared and the memories created.

We are incredibly grateful to all our volunteers, donors, and supporters who made this outreach possible. Your kindness continues to push this vision forward, and your belief in our mission encourages us to keep going. Project Bright Start Abeokuta was a success, and we are excited about the many lives we will touch as the project continues to grow.

To everyone who stood with us—thank you. Together, we are creating brighter starts for children, one community at a time.
